P&C Actuarial Analyst, Asia Pacific

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed portfolio reviews to identify pricing and underwriting actions to enhance profitability
• Support the development and maintenance of pricing models using predictive modeling techniques like GLM and machine learning
• Perform account pricing for larger policies with sufficient claims experience
• Design and develop monitoring infrastructure to track key performance metrics for strategic portfolios
• Ensure the accuracy of the rate monitoring process across various portfolios
• Extract and manipulate data from internal and external sources for analytical purposes
• Enhance data quality and processing efficiency to support growing P&C portfolios

Requirements

• 2-3 years of actuarial experience in general insurance
• Strong statistical and data analysis skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex data
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders across different countries
• Meticulous, organized, and able to work both independently and within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within a pricing function
• Proficiency in Python or experience with Emblem
