P-8A Field Service Representative - Defense

Responsibilities

• Act as a resident expert to develop and recommend solutions for complex P-8 operational problems
• Perform fiber optics repair and terminations, including training and mentoring customers
• Troubleshoot 737NG aircraft and P-8 mission-systems issues in collaboration with US Navy Sailors and NATEC
• Extract technical information from Boeing drawings and command media
• Identify replacement part numbers for items outside the Navy supply chain
• Provide on-the-job training to Sailors and document operational activities
• Support the mission with flexible working hours and potential travel or deployment as required

Requirements

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• 7+ years of flight line maintenance experience
• 3+ years of experience with 737NG or P-8A aircraft systems
• 3+ years of experience with aircraft mission systems
• Expertise in fiber optics repair and terminations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically or internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Current or former Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
• Experience with P-8 aircraft operations or sustainment
• Experience working with US Navy Aviation (NAVAIR)
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Experience troubleshooting Electrical, Avionics, and Environmental systems
• Quality Assurance inspector experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
