P-3 Orion Pilot Instructor

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pilot competency across aircraft operations, risk management, and positional skills
• Maintain proficiency in normal and emergency maneuvers using the P-3 Operational Flight Simulator
• Create realistic simulator scenarios and training events for various flight crew levels
• Develop and update lesson plans, training materials, and examinations
• Serve as a subject-matter advisor on P-3 training documentation
• Manage training calendars to ensure course cycle completion
• Provide simulator training and proficiency certification for new users

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent P-3 Instructor Pilot experience within the last 2 years
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety protocols
• Comprehensive knowledge of P-3 avionics, navigation, engines, and mission equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience instructing in a flight simulator environment
