Overnight Heavy-Duty Cleaner & Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including walk-behind and ride-on floor machines, carpet extractors, and power washers
• Perform floor care tasks such as scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
• Conduct high-level cleaning of glass, ledges, vents, and light fixtures using ladders
• Manage waste removal processes and transport garbage to compactors
• Respond to spills, including medical spills, using proper PPE and procedures
• Use iOS-based systems to track and document completed tasks
• Assist with snow removal and exterior power washing as required

Requirements

• Ability to work independently during overnight hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Ability to operate heavy-duty cleaning machinery and equipment safely
• Capability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and lifting
• Commitment to following all health, safety, and technical training guidelines
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) including CSA-approved footwear
