Overnight Camp Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care to campers, counselors, and staff according to physician orders
• Deliver emergency care for accidents or injuries involving campers and staff
• Administer prescribed medications to campers
• Process insurance forms, accident reports, and documentation of nursing care
• Communicate medical updates and nursing care to parents and the medical team
• Monitor health forms for all current camper files
• Ensure compliance with DHHS guidelines regarding COVID-19
• Promote the YMCA’s Character Development program

Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Hampshire
• Documented nursing experience

Benefits

• Weekly RN: $1,200 - $1,500 per week
• Substitute RN: $200 per shift
• Room and board included
• Staff children, grandchildren, or youth dependents are eligible for one free week of camp
