Overnight Bread Baker

Responsibilities

• Prepare bread, focaccia, rolls, and other bread items for Eataly’s restaurants and retail operations
• Follow proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of bread using authentic Italian recipes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards
• Work with wood-burning ovens, electric pizza convection ovens, and commercial spiral mixers
• Master all shifts and production processes to ensure consistent quality

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in a baker preparation position
• Availability to work an overnight shift schedule
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary culinary program
