Overhead Crane Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead bridge and remote-control cranes inside production bays to lift, move, and position materials with precision.
• Manipulate crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement based on instructions.
• Lift, position, and place large objects or materials as needed within the warehouse.
• Follow verbal, written, or signal instructions from helpers and supervisors.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and safety while working within precise limits.
• Start and stop crane controls according to operational requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of experience with overhead crane operation.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in an indoor manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions carefully.
