About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish and review basic and detailed design drawings for the project
  • Integrate technical interface requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit BIM format documents when applicable
  • Support architecture definition between subsystems to achieve optimal OCS design
  • Participate in collecting feedback (REX) on OCS designs
  • Ensure technical compliance by reviewing supplier, subcontractor, and in-house designs
  • Prepare 2D and 3D CAD/BIM OCS documents
  • Manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) elaboration and updates

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school (high school diploma)
  • 4+ years experience in mechanical/structural CAD engineering
  • Proficiency in BIM/CAD software
  • Experience with OCS layout and cross-section design
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field
  • Knowledge of Canadian standards and common practices
  • Proficiency in a second language
