Outsourced Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and monitor needs to build professional service value
• Lead and manage accounting service department team members in the local market
• Oversee accounting projects to ensure timely completion based on client needs
• Prepare complex reports, sales tax reports, year-end tax forms, and financial statements
• Calculate and review period-end journal entries and provide guidance on balance sheet accounts
• Complete period-end processes and reconcile bank accounts for clients
• Provide mentoring and technical training for employees in the accounting services department
• Perform client billings for accounting services provided

Requirements

• Associate’s or bachelor's degree in accounting
• 7+ years of bookkeeping experience including staff management
• Advanced knowledge of general ledger accounting and principles
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state payroll laws
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
