About the role
Responsibilities
- Prospect, cold call, and develop new end-user accounts throughout the DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland territory
- Drive to customer sites daily including warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and needs assessment to negotiating and closing deals
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and bids
- Collaborate with internal operations, service, and installation teams to ensure accurate job scoping
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in CRM
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales or the building products industry
- Experience hunting new business and managing a territory independently
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to commute throughout the DC Metro area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction trades, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries
- Background in door, dock equipment, or related trade professional roles
- Experience with industrial door solutions or loading dock equipment

- Base salary of $80,000 – $100,000 plus uncapped commission
