About the role
Responsibilities
- Present and sell Forge + Build products and services as a single point of contact
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and homeowners
- Produce accurate and timely quotes and follow up with customers
- Manage POS systems related to material sales and collect payments for invoices
- Analyze data metrics and KPIs to drive business growth and improve issues
- Conduct cold calling to new prospects and maintain monthly sales quotas
- Visit job sites and customer businesses within an assigned territory
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of building material and lumber sales experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to analyze and develop strategy based on blueprints
- Experience in outside sales preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and work in extreme outside temperatures
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales experience in the construction industry
- General knowledge of the construction industry
