Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Present and sell Forge + Build products and services as a single point of contact
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with contractors, builders, developers, and homeowners
• Produce accurate and timely quotes and follow up with customers
• Manage POS systems related to material sales and collect payments for invoices
• Analyze data metrics and KPIs to drive business growth and improve issues
• Maintain deep knowledge of product lines and capabilities

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of building material and lumber sales experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to analyze and develop strategy based on blueprints
• Experience with cold calling and maintaining sales quotas
• Ability to physically visit job sites and customer businesses within an assigned territory
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and work in extreme outside temperatures
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in the construction industry
• General knowledge of the construction industry
