Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Present and sell Forge + Build products and services to contractors, builders, and developers
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships within the residential and commercial construction community
• Manage all segments of POS systems related to material sales
• Produce accurate and timely quotes and follow up with customers
• Collect payments for invoices within expected terms
• Analyze data metrics and KPIs to drive business growth and profitability
• Conduct cold calling to new prospects to generate growth

Requirements

• 3+ years of building material and lumber sales experience with estimating experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to analyze and develop strategy based on blueprints
• Ability to physically visit job sites and customer businesses within an assigned territory
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in the construction industry
• General knowledge of the construction industry
