Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Initiate new business via cold calls, scheduling appointments, visiting job sites, and telemarketing
• Maintain current accounts, community, and business contacts
• Train new customers on new products and features
• Research and prepare supply sales orders and quotes in a timely manner
• Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications, pricing, and availability
• Create a quality customer base within Cuyahoga, Medina, Lorain, and Summit Counties
• Attend scheduled training events to improve product knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of previous sales experience preferred
• 1-3 years of related experience within the construction or construction materials industry
• Good driving record
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to present a professional reflection of the company
