About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet with decision makers to influence the purchase of commercial doors and related products
- Develop sales opportunities through consultative sales and customer communication
- Cultivate sales within commercial/industrial buildings, hospitals, colleges, and municipalities
- Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards
- Provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals
- Assess customer needs and sell technical and mechanical goods and services
- Develop scope of work for proposals and manage the sales process from initial call to closing
- Maintain and update CRM system daily
Requirements
- Minimum three years of outside sales experience
- Ability to understand technical applications and mechanical systems
- Valid Driver’s License
- Outgoing personality with a focus on customer care
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Blue Prints, Plans, and Specs
