Outside Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Visit customer offices, shops, and job sites to assess needs and maintain strong relationships
• Prospect and identify new customers to grow market share
• Lead the sales process including territory planning and growth targets
• Analyze customer data and execute strategies to meet Profit Centre targets
• Process orders, quotes, and job packages
• Resolve customer issues, short payments, and returns
• Collaborate with Profit Centre Manager and Credit Team regarding accounts receivable
• Implement strategic vendor programs and participate in trade shows
• Follow all safety regulations at customer and Profit Centre locations

Requirements

• College and/or University degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or counter sales
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Strong verbal communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Intermediate math skills
• Ability to learn and operate applicable software and material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with or knowledge of HVAC products and systems
