About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of up to six Outreach Specialists, coordinating their activities and motivating them in their work
- Ensure that daily and weekly outreach goals are met and report progress to leadership
- Provide programmatic support and logistical planning for Outreach teams and Directors
- Identify opportunities for new relationships and collaboration with community stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver presentations at meetings, events, and community gatherings
- Lead trainings for staff and community stakeholders
- Maintain records of events, projects, and referrals using various technologies
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work or related activities; OR
- High school graduation and six years of experience in community work or related activities; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one year of experience in community-centered activities
- Demonstrated experience running a team, preferably in outreach, field, or campaign settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with direct community engagement
