Outreach & Engagement Task Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution across outreach, engagement, communications, stakeholder engagement, content, digital, and community initiatives
• Develop and implement comprehensive outreach strategies aligned with MC&FP goals and mission priorities
• Coordinate tasking, schedules, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and issue escalation
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, and stakeholders
• Oversee creation, review, and distribution of outreach materials and digital content
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, workshops, briefings, and community engagement activities
• Manage outreach team performance, including staff coordination, training, and workload alignment
• Monitor, analyze, and report on outreach effectiveness using data and engagement metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in outreach, engagement, strategic communications, or related roles
• 5+ years of experience leading outreach teams or multidisciplinary delivery teams
• DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Strong knowledge of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and schedules in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience managing regional, national, federal, defense, or military community engagement
• Experience developing executive-level updates and performance reports
