About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral member of the Operations team providing front-line support to job seekers
  • Greet clients and manage the reception area to ensure a professional first impression
  • Conduct client outreach and schedule appointments efficiently
  • Assess job seeker needs and guide individuals through employment and career services
  • Provide overviews of career center programs and direct job seekers to resources
  • Deliver social service referrals based on individual needs
  • Support job seekers in the resource room and encourage use of available tools
  • Assist with outreach to individuals on the Unemployment Compensation Exhaustee list
  • Screen and direct incoming calls professionally
  • Maintain accurate referral logs and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • Strong customer service background
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with job search websites, tools, and employment resources
  • Ability to build connections in person and over the phone
