About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of creative outreach, engagement, and partnership strategies to support K–12 STEM education initiatives
- Collaborate with educational partners to design and deliver STEM workshops, focusing on under-resourced schools and communities
- Partner with College of Engineering faculty to strengthen math and science literacy and engagement
- Develop partnerships across academia, industry, and community organizations to support a diverse STEM workforce
- Recruit and train undergraduate and graduate student ambassador groups to develop engaging presentations and projects
- Host on-campus programs and coordinate site visits for schools and Out-of-School Time (OST) organizations
- Utilize platforms such as Monday.com, Canva, and Google Suite for routine administrative responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM Education, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of educational outreach or related experience
- Proven experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds
- Successful completion of a background check
