About the role
Responsibilities
- Organize relationship management for key policy delivery and events
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple teams to engage advocates and member-based organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across priority policy areas
- Define purpose, scale, and type of engagement for marquee announcements and public events
- Collaborate with Front Office, Deputy Mayors, and Communications teams to ensure strategic alignment
- Track and manage engagement activities and stakeholder outreach touchpoints
- Anticipate stakeholder concerns and share insights with relevant agencies
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and 3 years of experience in government or community organizing; OR
- High school diploma and 4 years of experience in government or community organizing; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in government and/or community organizing
- Proficiency with Excel or Airtable
- Strong relationship management and coalition building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
