Outreach and Community Engagement Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to support educator, counselor, and leadership preparation pipelines.
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with TK-12 school districts, community colleges, and professional organizations.
• Coordinate with Enrollment Management and Admissions to align outreach activities with university recruitment processes.
• Expand fieldwork, internship, and apprenticeship opportunities through collaboration with district and site supervisors.
• Represent the La Verne Faculty of Education at education summits, district meetings, and community events.
• Develop messaging and outreach materials to communicate academic pathways to prospective students and community partners.
• Track outreach contacts, partnership activities, and engagement outcomes using university systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in partnership development, community engagement, or education workforce development.
• Proven experience working with TK-12 school districts, higher education institutions, or workforce development programs.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills with administrators and education-focused organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience specifically within a higher education environment.
