Outpatient Therapist/Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, assessments, and group facilitation to individuals and families
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
• Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality client care
• Collaborate with clients in the development of written treatment plans
• Document clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress charting in a timely manner
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences, or commensurate experience
• Active substance use or mental health licensure in the state of service
• 1+ year of experience in a relevant field
• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of clinical treatment
• Understanding of ethical standards for respective licensure governing boards

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
• Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
