Outpatient Therapist/Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, assessments, and group facilitation to individuals and families
• Coordinate all aspects of direct clinical care from admission to discharge
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement master treatment plans
• Document clinical assessments, diagnoses, and progress charting in a timely manner
• Monitor clients on an ongoing basis to assess needs and facilitate interventions
• Provide clinical updates to utilization review and managed care representatives
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all company policies and ethical standards

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences, or commensurate experience
• Active substance use or mental health licensure in the state of Idaho
• 1+ year of experience in a relevant field
• Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain strong interpersonal skills
• Understanding of ethical standards governing respective licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
• Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
