Outpatient Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities
• Participates in the formulation of patient's treatment plans, goals and objectives
• Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient
• Accesses family or community resources such as group homes or private mental health practitioners to meet aftercare needs

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field
• BBS Registration (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, AMFT, ASW, or APCC)
• Current BLS for healthcare provider card
• Therapeutic Options™ training (to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor)
