Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent outpatient nursing care for hemodialysis patients
• Perform patient assessments before, during, and after treatment and document findings
• Administer medications and respond to changes in patient condition as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment options, and transplant awareness
• Support emergency response, lab collection processes, and interdisciplinary care planning

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS certification
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, patient movement, and prolonged standing
• Ability to meet state practice requirements and work in an onsite clinical setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience as a Registered Nurse
• Chronic or acute hemodialysis experience
• Experience working in outpatient or dialysis care environments
