Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent outpatient nursing care for patients with end stage kidney disease
• Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation before, during, and after hemodialysis
• Administer prescribed medications and document patient response and treatment effectiveness
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment options, and transplant awareness
• Support emergency response measures, lab collection processes, and interdisciplinary care coordination

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, patient movement, and prolonged standing
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Chronic or acute hemodialysis experience
• Experience in outpatient or dialysis care
• Ability to work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and patient care technicians
