Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for outpatient hemodialysis patients
• Perform patient assessments before, during, and after treatment and document findings
• Administer medications and respond to changes in patient condition as needed
• Educate patients and families on care needs, treatment options, and transplant awareness
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update plans of care and support quality improvement

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nephrology nursing experience
• Ability to work onsite in a clinical dialysis setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chronic or acute hemodialysis
• Familiarity with clinical advancement program requirements
• Prior experience serving as a preceptor, mentor, or team leader
