Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent nursing care for outpatient hemodialysis patients
• Perform patient assessments, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis and document findings
• Administer medications and respond to emergencies as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, transplant options, and treatment modalities
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, effective care
• Support quality improvement activities and serve as a resource for team members

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Ability to meet state practice requirements
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Nephrology nursing experience
• Med-surg or step-down experience
• Experience in chronic or acute hemodialysis
• Prior preceptor, charge, or team leadership experience
