Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent outpatient nursing care for patients with End Stage Kidney Disease
• Perform patient assessments, document findings, and update treatment plans before, during, and after hemodialysis
• Administer medications, support emergency response measures, and ensure safe delivery of dialysis therapy
• Educate patients and families on care needs, transplant options, and treatment modalities
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and support quality improvement activities
• May mentor, precept, or assist in supervising patient care staff as assigned

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure in the state of employment
• Current CPR BLS certification or successful completion of BLS
• Minimum of 2 years of nephrology nursing experience
• Ability to provide direct patient care in an onsite clinical setting
