Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent outpatient nursing care for patients with end stage kidney disease
• Perform patient assessments before, during, and after hemodialysis treatment and document findings
• Administer medications and respond to patient needs, including emergency situations
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, transplant options, and care needs
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and support quality improvement
• Support lab collection, processing, and other clinical workflow tasks as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS certification
• Ability to meet state practice requirements
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Nephrology nursing experience
• Chronic or acute hemodialysis experience
• Prior experience in an outpatient dialysis setting
