Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients undergoing hemodialysis
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre-, during, and post-treatment
• Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, transplant, and modality options
• Direct and collaborate with direct and ancillary patient care staff to ensure safe delivery of therapy
• Manage laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, move patients, and stand for prolonged periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chronic or acute hemodialysis
• Previous experience in Nephrology Nursing
