Outpatient Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated clinical care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Perform systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre, during, and post hemodialysis treatment
• Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness
• Direct and provide safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with ancillary staff
• Educate patients and families regarding basic learning needs and treatment modality options
• Ensure correct laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures are performed
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state nursing licensure
• Current CPR BLS Certification
• Previous dialysis experience required
• Must be willing to float to all Indiana clinics
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts between Monday and Saturday, 4am - 6pm
