Outpatient Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and medication management to a diverse demographic of patients
• Manage an average caseload of approximately 50 patients per week
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Deliver care via a telehealth platform
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and offer guidance to peers
• Contribute to clinical training initiatives and quality improvement projects

Requirements

• Doctorate degree (MD) from an accredited school
• Completed Psychiatry residency program including Primary Care rotations
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted medical license and DEA number in CT, FL, MA, NJ, or NY
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as CBT or DBT
• Ability to document patient sessions concurrently and efficiently
• Technical aptitude with EHR platforms and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional residencies in Neurology, Internal Medicine, or Obstetrics-Gynecology
• Experience with Psychodynamic Modality
• Telehealth or telemedicine experience
• Interest in advancing into supervisory or leadership roles
