Outpatient Pharmacy Services Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise the overall management and service components of the pharmacy outpatient unit
• Coordinate operational activities including administrative supervision and resource availability
• Manage drug procurement processes and documentation for new drugs
• Oversee the destruction of damaged or expired drugs and narcotics
• Provide guidance, orientation, and professional development for pharmacy staff
• Ensure completeness of periodic reports including drug purchase and expiration reports
• Provide drug information services and facilitate patient counseling
• Handle complaints from patients, families, and medical staff
• Implement and supervise quality and safety service procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
• Pharmacist certification
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in similar fields preferred
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and patient counseling
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills
