About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver and support activities including arts & crafts, sports, games, cooking, and creative play
- Supervise and engage with children, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment
- Use positive behaviour guidance to support children with different needs
- Build relationships with parents, caregivers, and school staff
- Support or lead day-to-day programme operations from set-up to pack-down
- Guide and support team members in leadership roles
Requirements
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Reliable transport to South Auckland sites
- Availability from 2:30pm on weekdays
- Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps, or similar
- Leadership or supervisory experience for Programme Manager and Assistant Programme Manager roles
- Age 20 or older for leadership roles
- Confidence working with groups of children
