OT Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support, administer, and maintain cybersecurity systems and controls within the Operational Technology (OT) environment.
• Perform asset management and inventory of OT cybersecurity resources and supporting infrastructure.
• Administer specialized cyber defense tools including firewalls, IPS/IDS, Data Diodes, antivirus, and passive security monitoring.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity threats to OT systems and networks using defensive tools and network traffic logs.
• Implement system security measures to resolve vulnerabilities and ensure production continuity and safety.
• Support the OT/ICS project lifecycle, including design specifications (FEED, FDS, DDS) and testing phases (FAT, SAT, SIT).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve security incidents and ensure vulnerability compliance within OT/ICS networks.
• Maintain security baseline configurations according to organizational policies and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-7 years of experience in IT Security, with at least 3 years specifically in OT/ICS security engineering.
• Mandatory professional certification: GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist.
• Deep knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, PROFINet, DNP3, etc.) and SCADA/DCS systems.
• Strong understanding of network security architecture, including defense-in-depth, segmentation, and DMZs.
• Experience with industrial automation hardware such as PLCs, DCS, and various fieldbus protocols.
• Proficiency in configuring network protection components like firewalls and Data Diodes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yokogawa or ABB DCS and Industrial Control Systems.
• Knowledge of industrial wireless technologies (e.g., ISA100 & Wireless HART).
• Familiarity with ITIL service management concepts.
