OT Cybersecurity Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls for OT/ICS environments
• Monitor, assess, and respond to cybersecurity threats impacting OT systems
• Conduct OT risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits
• Implement network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection, and secure remote access
• Support incident response activities related to OT cybersecurity events
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to align security practices
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IEC 62443, NIST, and ISA/IEC
• Develop and maintain OT cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity or industrial network security
• Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial protocols like Modbus, OPC, and DNP3
• Strong understanding of OT network architecture and segmentation
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security in OT environments
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks including IEC 62443 and NIST

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, or IEC 62443
• Experience in critical infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, or utilities sectors
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOC operations, and threat detection in OT environments
• Experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments
