OSP Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local subcontractors and partners to manage OSP crews
• Track crew progress and report real-time job status to internal leadership
• Monitor OSP contractor crews to drive a safety culture at worksites
• Engage with municipalities, utilities, and community members to address concerns
• Ensure subcontractor crews meet NESC code for aerial construction
• Comply with all safety regulations and requirements
• Support internal teams with materials forecasting, scheduling, and permitting

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations
• Fiber or Telecom industry experience
• Proven project management experience with multiple OSP worksites
• Proficiency with Smart Sheets, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong knowledge of OSHA rules, NESC requirements, and telecommunications regulations
• Valid, fully unencumbered Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Visio and PowerPoint
• Experience in a fast-paced, startup-mindset environment
