OSP Construction Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local subcontractors and partners to manage OSP crews
• Track crew progress and report real-time job status to internal leadership
• Monitor OSP contractor crews to drive a safety culture at worksites
• Engage with municipalities, utilities, and community members to address concerns
• Ensure subcontractor crews meet NESC code for aerial construction
• Support internal teams with materials forecasting, scheduling, and permitting

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations
• Proven project management experience with multiple OSP worksites
• Strong knowledge of OSHA rules, NESC requirements, and telecom regulations
• Proficiency in Smart Sheets, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Valid, fully unencumbered Driver’s License
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Experience in the Fiber or Telecom industry is essential
