About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging school holiday activities for primary school children in the Gladstone Region
  • Support children's development through play, sports, arts, and creative projects
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
  • Work block shifts between 6:00am and 6:00pm during September/October and December/January holiday periods

Requirements

  • Genuine passion for working with children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to learn
  • Australian work rights
  • Willingness to obtain or hold a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Teacher Aide, Education Support Officer, School Officer, or Learning Support Assistant
