About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate before- and after-school care programs for children aged 5-12 in the Mandurah area
  • Create and deliver dynamic, child-centered activities including STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts
  • Manage educator rosters, day-to-day operations, compliance, and administrative tasks
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment that supports children's development through play

Requirements

  • ACECQA-recognised qualification meeting WA First Qualified Educator standard
  • State working-with-children check and national police check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian working rights
  • Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding
  • Natural leadership ability with experience guiding a team
