About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of educators in a before- and after-school care program for children aged 5-12
- Develop and deliver engaging, child-centered activities including STEM, sports, cooking, and arts
- Manage team rosters, day-to-day operations, and administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with child safety standards and organisational policies
Requirements
- Relevant ACECQA qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA
- State working-with-children check and national police check (or willingness to obtain)
- Australian working rights
- Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding
- Natural leadership ability and experience guiding a team
