About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred after-school program including STEM, sport, cooking, and arts and crafts
  • Manage rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration for the service
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture and guide a team of passionate Educators
  • Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to support service growth
  • Oversee programs for children aged 5–12 in a welcoming, close-knit environment

Requirements

  • Working towards or completed a relevant ACECQA-approved qualification for a 2 Year Qualified Educator in Queensland
  • Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian work rights
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a natural ability to guide and inspire a team
