About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and help lead a vibrant, child-centred before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12
  • Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture and support educators
  • Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders
  • Oversee split-shift operations including Rise Then Shine (6:30am–9:00am) and Stay and Play (2:30pm–6:00pm), plus school holiday block shifts

Requirements

  • Working towards or completed a relevant ACECQA 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification for QLD
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team with aspiration to grow into leadership
  • National Police Check and Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian work rights
