Orthopedic Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized orthopedic tasks including cast application and brace fitting
• Assist Sports Medicine Clinicians and Orthopedists with patient care
• Provide patient education regarding orthopedic treatments and care
• Maintain high-quality care standards while working independently with minimal supervision
• Communicate medical information clearly to both patients and clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with patient rights, confidentiality, and informed consent protocols

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in orthopedic care
• Orthopedic Technician certification (NBCOT or ASOP)
• Current CPR Certification
• Proficiency in medical software and technology
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
