Dane Street is a national Independent Review Organization with a robust legal clientele. We are expanding our physician panel to support Texas Contra-Affidavit processes and witness requests.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and address clinical questions, medical necessity, and usual/customary charges
• Support the Counter-Affidavit process
• Be available for depositions and trial expert testimony
• Complete the counter-affidavit process addressing clinical concerns and fee/charge standards in Texas practice
• Provide copies of criteria utilized in reviews with the report
• Return cases on or before specified due dates
• Provide addenda and respond to client questions as necessary

Requirements

• Active Texas medical license
• Active medical practice
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Expertise in analyzing CPT codes in combination with usual and customary rates and state fee schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with counter-affidavit, testimony, or deposition work
