Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Reviewer

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical record reviews and provide objective, evidence-based clinical opinions
• Prepare clear clinical summaries
• Engage in peer-to-peer communications when necessary
• Respond to client-specific questions regarding spinal conditions, management, causation, impairment, and disability in workers’ compensation cases

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Current, unrestricted New York medical license
• New York Workers’ Compensation Board Certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Ability to complete required orientation and training sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training or significant experience in Spine Surgery
