Responsibilities
- Perform PRP, PRP+PPP, and other orthobiologic injections under ultrasound guidance
- Conduct initial MSK assessments and intake consultations
- Assist with higher-complexity procedures including A2M/iRAP, Lipogems, BMAC, and Regenokine
- Develop and communicate post-procedure care plans
- Perform follow-up visits to assess outcomes and manage complications
- Operate and maintain clinical equipment including centrifuge and ultrasound
- Document all clinical encounters in Athena
- Contribute to the development of clinical SOPs and procedure protocols
- Participate in outcomes data collection
Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York State
- National board certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Minimum 2 years of NP experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, pain management, or physical medicine
- Demonstrated experience performing injections (joint, soft tissue, or ultrasound-guided)
- Proficiency with phlebotomy
- Proficiency with or willingness to train on ultrasound-guided injection technique
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to operate under a collaborative practice agreement in New York State
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with PRP preparation and injection procedures
- Background in regenerative or orthobiologic medicine
- Experience in a high-touch membership-based clinical environment
- Familiarity with validated MSK outcome tools
- California NP licensure or willingness to obtain
