About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare clinic and casting rooms prior to patient arrival
- Escort patients to exam rooms or radiology and obtain vital signs/medical history in the EMR
- Assist physicians with in-office procedures such as joint aspirations, suturing, and fracture reductions
- Apply and remove casts and splints, perform minor wound care, and fit durable medical equipment (DME)
- Prepare medications and injections as ordered by providers
- Order and facilitate diagnostic imaging, including x-rays
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and at-home care
- Triage patient phone calls and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure exam and casting rooms remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent or better
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting

- Detail-oriented approach to clinical tasks
- Strong team player with a dedicated work ethic
- Interest in professional growth and taking on more responsibility
